Location: Wembley, UK (Remote/On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

About Colour Press Ltd:

An established print company offering Digital/Litho/Large Format & Finishing Services to medium-large organisations. This business is well known within the print and packaging industry and strives to produce high end print and packaging.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Graphic / Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating stunning, user-centric print design & websites that are visually appealing and functionally robust. You will work closely with our MD to design print collateral & websites for us and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design: Create digital & print collateral.
  • Design and Development: Create and customise responsive WordPress websites using themes, templates, and plugins.
  • UI/UX Design: Develop visually compelling and user-friendly website designs that focus on aesthetics and functionality.
  • Customisation: Modify WordPress themes to suit clients' needs, ensuring consistent branding across web pages.
  • Content Management: Manage and update website content using WordPress CMS.
  • Website Optimisation: Optimise websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
  • Client Collaboration: Work with clients to understand their vision, providing creative solutions to meet their business goals.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Ensure websites are secure, up-to-date, and free from errors. Troubleshoot and resolve any website-related issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure websites function properly across various devices and browsers.
  • Social Media: Looking after different Social Media platforms (not a must, can learn)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in print design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Expertise in WordPress development, including theme customisation, plugin management, and custom coding.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimisation.
  • Excellent understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
