Summary of Position

As the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of marketing strategies that will enable the business to meet its strategic and commercial goals. You will be expected to perform a variety of duties in the smooth operation of Platinum Care Solutions Group marketing activity and to support the business’ needs, you will be at the heart of the company’s marketing activity.

As the sole marketing professional in the company, you'll be expected to contribute creatively to the continued growth and development of the organisation.

This exciting and challenging role would be an ideal opportunity for a creative, outgoing and confident person to experience the full operational breadth of an organisation.

This is a part time position – 24 hours a week, flexible to be worked Monday – Friday within the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategy in line with the company’s vision, plan, and business objectives.

Deliver the plan including advertising, promotion, supporting events, publishing, and work with all members of the team and agencies to ensure effective delivery.

Lead marketing activities for the business and set marketing plans.

Identify and advise on target markets and how best to engage them.

Manage day-to-day marketing activities and campaigns.

Liaise with external agencies to ensure they have a clear understanding of the marketing strategy and are able to support delivery.

To create engaging copy, with a professional but friendly tone of voice, ensuring accuracy.

To be responsible for and manage all aspects of the preparation of marketing materials & literature.

To assist with distribution of marketing materials.

Build a firm understanding of the local community.

Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.

Research opportunities for targeted advertising & manage the publication process.

Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases.

To play an active role in updating and developing all digital media, helping to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns & social media.

Management of Social media platforms.

Regularly updating copy on the website using content management system.

Obtaining website statistic reports.

Identifying key opportunities internally and externally.

Working with other departments to create and implement web-based projects.

Managing and developing relationships with local Press and Media.

Write and distribute regional press releases and following up with target media.

Liaise with all offices to maximise local and regional PR opportunities.

Person Specification

Experience of working in a marketing role.

Marketing or other relevant qualification.

Motivated individual and driven by set goals and targets.

Attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Strong design and creative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication with strong Interpersonal skills.

Strong team player.

Can work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Ability to show initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Excellent time management skills.

Able to research and understand the market’s requirements.
