Key responsibilities:
· Website Design and Development: Communicate effectively with customers to design and build high-quality e-commerce websites within agreed timeframes
· Ongoing Design Work: Undertake recurring web design tasks for key clients, ensuring high specifications and adherence to timescales
· Customer Support: Respond promptly to web-related queries from the support team, ensuring efficient and effective resolution, and complete design fix tickets
Essential skills and Qualities:
· Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with CSS, semantic HTML, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of accessible web standards
· Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detailn
· Communication: Excellent communication skills and time management
· Creativity: Artistic flair and a keen eye for creating bespoke high-end designs
Beneficial:
· Familiarity with Version Control and Modern JavaScript Frameworks: Experience with Git for version control. While we use Vue.js, knowledge of similar JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React is also valuable
· Commercial Awareness: Ability to make informed commercial decisions on a project-by-project basis and offer additional services when relevant to customer requirements
· Innovation: A desire to improve, innovate, and work with new technological advancements
