Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile Full Stack + Mobile Software Engineer to join our growing development team. This role involves building and maintaining our entire technology stack, from frontend web applications to backend microservices and cross-platform mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about modern technologies and capable of delivering high-quality solutions across multiple platforms within our fast-paced 4-week release cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular framework
  • Design and implement backend microservices using Kotlin Spring Boot v3
  • Build and optimise SQL database schemas and queries for high-performance applications
  • Develop and maintain our cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform for iOS and Android
  • Implement local data storage solutions using Room database for mobile applications
  • Collaborate with the team to architect scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards
  • Work within agile development processes and 4-week release cycles
  • Debug and resolve issues across the full technology stack
  • Integrate with third-party APIs and services
  • Optimise application performance and user experience
  • Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices
  • Support production systems and participate in on-call rotations as needed

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Angular framework for frontend development
  • Extensive experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot v3 for backend development
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform for mobile development
  • Knowledge of Room database for Android local storage
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience with agile development methodologies

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Experience with AWS cloud platform
  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of security best practices for web and mobile applications
  • Experience with 2FA integration in applications and web platforms (such as Keycloak)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools
