At Castle International Ltd, we rely on a dynamic team of developers to solve the many challenges and puzzles of our rapidly evolving technical stack. We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organisation that’s always pushing boundaries. This person will have complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The Full Stack Developer will join a small team that uses new and current technologies to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users.

Objectives:

· Work across the full stack, building highly scalable websites that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth for our clients.

· Develop new features and web infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.

· Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualisation to deployment.

· Ensure website performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and theme based builds.

· Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in all aspects of agile development, including design, implementation, and deployment of web projects.

· Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end websites optimised for speed, scale and growth of companies.

· Proficient in Shopify (Liquid), WordPress (Timber/Twig), and Elementor Page Builder websites along with general web work (HTML/CSS).

· Experience with build tools such as Node.js, Composer, Yarn, Tailwind, and AlpineJS.

· Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs where required.

· Collaborate across teams and clients to ensure a good quality work ethic.

Required skills and qualifications:

· At least two years of experience in web development.

· Experience in custom code

· Proficient in Shopify (Liquid), WordPress (Timber/Twig), and Elementor Page Builder websites along with general web work (HTML/CSS).

· Experience with build tools such as Node.js, Composer, Yarn, Tailwind, and AlpineJS.

· Excellent QA and optimisation skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

· Degree (or equivalent) in web development

· Interest in learning new tools, languages and workflows

· Working with outsourced providers

· Project Management
