About us:

We are a growing social media and marketing agency based near Durham City, offering a range of solutions to businesses in the local area and further afield.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Apprentice. This is an entry level role that offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in Digital Marketing whilst working alongside experienced professionals. As a Digital Marketing apprentice, you will provide essential support to our team, helping to ensure the smooth running of the business and contributing to the achievement of the company’s growth.

Please only apply for this role if you have - Knowledge/experience with Canva, Photoshop, In-design. Driving license and access to a veichle would be required, due to location of business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including Social Media Management, email marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Graphic Design, Content Creation, illustration, Pay Per Click, Videography
  • Building and maintaining a brand’s presence across multiple social media channels
  • Creating, executing and monitoring marketing campaign budgets
  • Collaborating with media and sales teams to improve marketing results
  • Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment
  • Coordinating with the digital marketing team to identify innovative growth strategies
  • Preparing reports on the performance of marketing campaigns

The successful applicant will ideally have the following:

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge/experience – Canva, Photoshop, In-design
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle due to business location

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

ITEC's expert tutors, coupled with mentors in the workplace, will provide training in the following:

  • Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprentice standard
  • How to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms
  • Marketing principles
  • Principles of coding
  • Search marketing, search engine optimisation, web analytics and metrics
  • Mobile apps and pay-per-click marketing
  • Level 2 English and maths will need to be achieved, if not already, prior to taking the end point assessment

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: Up to £6.40 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location: In person
