At Big Motoring World, we're driving innovation in the automotive space, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and create an exceptional experience for our customers and colleagues. As part of our expanding team, you'll play a pivotal role in building internal tools, streamlining processes and exploring greenfield projects to take our business to the next level.

We're seeking an experience C# Developer with a passion to build new technologies. Working within a small team, we offer huge opportunities for growth and development in an rapidly expanding company, with a direct impact on the company's success.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Hybrid role working remote, onsite (3 days on-site per week) and on-call

Location: Gillingham Business Park, Kent

Primary Stack: .NET Core C# / JS (Vanilla) / HTML/CSS/SCSS / SQL / Azure /Angular

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, maintain and deploy scalable, testable and modular solutions using our primary stack.
  • Solve complex technical problems while evolving automation and processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain services, reporting tools and web interfaces for internal systems and customer-facing platforms, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
  • Push updates and new features to existing platforms, expanding functionality go partners, internal staff and customers.
  • Lead projects from inception to delivery, contributing to innovations and efficiency across all areas of the business.
  • Collaborate in an agile team environment, delivering user-requested enhancements and sharing knowledge to achieve the best group outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise as needed, fostering a "help each other" culture and a focus on continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in software development, with at least 2 years in Full Stack or Frontend development
  • A creative problem solver, with the ability to learn new technologies
  • Proven track record of taking projects from the ground to reality, alone and as a team
  • Experience using Azure/AWS and CI/CD pipelines (desirable)
  • Experience in the motor trade or a passion for cars is beneficial
  • Analytics or statistics background is a plus
