We make health happen

At Bupa, our purpose is simple: helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. As a Digital Designer, you'll play an important part in bringing that purpose to life through engaging digital experiences that help us connect with customers in meaningful ways. Based within our Marketing and Digital Team, you'll create impactful digital content across email, web and digital channels that supports customer engagement, brand growth and business performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative design team where creativity, customer experience and innovation are at the heart of what we do. You'll work with colleagues across global markets, helping to deliver a consistent brand experience while adapting content to meet local needs. If you're passionate about digital design, accessibility and creating customer-focused solutions, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Designer, you'll:

  • Create high-quality digital content across email marketing, website landing pages, digital banners and social media channels.
  • Support the delivery of creative digital campaigns and business-as-usual content that helps drive customer engagement, growth and retention.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and provide creative input and recommendations.
  • Use customer insights, data and analytics to inform design decisions and improve digital performance.
  • Champion best practice in user experience (UX), user interface (UI) design and accessibility.
  • Help maintain and protect Bupa's brand standards, making sure all digital content aligns with brand and regulatory requirements.
  • Research new technologies, tools and design trends to bring fresh thinking and continuous improvement to the team.
  • Support process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality and the overall customer experience.
  • Contribute to onboarding and sharing knowledge with new team members when needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a talented Digital Designer who combines strong creative skills with a customer-focused mindset.

You'll have:

  • A degree, qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant design discipline.
  • Substantial experience in a digital design role, either in-house or within an agency environment.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong experience using Figma.
  • A good understanding of typography, colour, layout, photography and visual storytelling.
  • Experience creating digital assets for email, web landing pages, HTML5 banners and social media.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and spoken English.
  • Confidence building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams.
  • A proactive approach, curiosity to keep learning and a passion for creating great digital experiences.

It would be beneficial if you also have working knowledge of HTML and CSS, along with experience interpreting detailed creative briefs and brand guidelines.
