About the role
We’ve got a brilliant opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to help level up our in-house marketing team! Using your experience of working across a range of media, you’ll help your marketing colleagues oversee, develop and execute engaging creative concepts, applying your design skills across a variety of channels, including digital, web, video, print and social media. Collaborating with our in-house content creators, you’ll also be responsible for managing the smooth delivery of all briefs and requests coming into the in-house creative studio.
As a company that is expanding rapidly in the UK, we’re on the lookout for talented, hard-working individuals whose skills can help us drive that growth even further, which is hopefully where you come in. We’re after a graphic designer to join our in-house marketing team; a role which is so important to a company like ours that is always looking to build brand awareness by delivering sleek, engaging collateral and communications.
Your day-to-day
As one of our graphic designers, you’ll get the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design, produce and maintain a wide variety of materials, including sales collateral, videos for social media, presentations and website elements.
- Use digital tools and software to enhance images, create animations, or develop multimedia designs.
- Prepare design drafts, iterate based on feedback, and finalise designs for publication or production.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Work with external vendors or printers to ensure high-quality production of printed materials.
What skills does our ideal candidate have?
To thrive in this role, we think you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or over three years’ experience working in a professional services business.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro etc.) and Microsoft Suite (Word and PowerPoint).
- Proficient using a DSLR camera and post production of images and videos
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of typography, colour, and layout.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of digital and print production processes.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles is a plus.
