Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer with a strong foundation in WordPress, Shopify, and experience using page builders such as Elementor. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SEO, basic coding experience in HTML, Java, PHP, and CSS, and hands-on experience managing DNS records and hosting through platforms like Plesk Panel. You will play a key role in designing, coding, and maintaining high-quality web applications that meet our clients' unique needs. A collaborative mindset and eagerness to contribute to every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, including theme and plugin customization.
• Use page builders like Elementor to create responsive, SEO-friendly web pages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Manage DNS records and configure hosting environments through Plesk Panel.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of web applications.
• Apply SEO principles to improve site visibility and search engine rankings.
• Troubleshoot and debug to improve application functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in web development and SEO.

Requirements

• Proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, and page builders like Elementor.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Basic coding experience in HTML, Java, PHP, and CSS.
• Experience managing DNS records and web hosting through Plesk Panel.
• Familiarity with web services, API integrations, and server management.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
