Digital Marketing Executive

PowderBeds.com are an Edinburgh based e-commerce travel business specialising in the online sale of hotels and apartments in ski resorts throughout France and Switzerland. Since its launch, PowderBeds has gone from strength to strength and is now one of the UK’s leading online ski accommodation retailers. PowderBeds.com is part of Osprey Holidays Ltd, a tour operator with a strong heritage, established in 1973.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

We require a personable, creative and pro-active individual with excellent marketing ability and outstanding enthusiasm to come and join our team as a Digital Marketing Executive. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a small team in a dynamic and exciting e-commerce business.

You will report to the General Manager and will be working as part of a small team and as a result the role is broad in scope and responsibilities are likely to change on a daily basis, so having a flexible approach to work is essential.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy that delivers within budget.

· Liaise with our external agencies to plan, implement and manage PPC, SEO and site development strategy.

· Manage the PowderBeds social media accounts and work to grow the community and increase engagement.

· Create compelling marketing materials and manage general site content with strong and swift copywriting skills.

· Plan, create and deliver an email marketing strategy using Campaign Monitor and build the client database.

· Report regularly on search engine ranking positions, organic traffic, paid search and user interaction with the website and suggest opportunities for growth.

· Manage and grow PowderBeds partnerships and affiliate network, keeping relevant site content up to date.

· Assist with project managing changes and improvements being made to the site, overseeing the work carried out by web developers.

Key Skills

· You have a digital marketing background and have a passion for snowsports.

· You’re a friendly team-player who brings enthusiasm and energy to the team and enjoys the variety provided by working in a small business.

· You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· You have a proactive approach to your work and the ability to work on your own initiative.

· You have a good understanding of the key principals of digital marketing and ecommerce.

· You have experience of running SEO, PPC and paid social campaigns.

· You are creative with an excellent eye for design and have competency in Canva and Photoshop.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
