Software Developer WEB/C#/.NET/SQL (m/w/d)
Location: Glenrothes, Fife
CTDI is an international full service, global engineering, repair and logistics Company providing best cost solutions to many of the world’s premier brands. We support the entire product life cycle, from original design input, pre-sales testing, local customization and configuration through to our field support activities that include technical assistance as well as product repair, replacement and refurbishment programs.
Your Tasks
· As an innovative employee you are an elementary part in the support, troubleshooting, extensions, changes and adjustments in given software structures but also new development and maintenance of applications under C# / ASP.NET and MVC
· You are enthusiastic about the maintenance and further development of our software architecture and the design of new solutions
· Interdisciplinary cooperation in cross-departmental teams in an international environment is an important part of your work
· Understanding of the core processes and problems of the departments
· Conversion of business requirements into technical specifications
· Creation of test cases, database modeling as well as the execution of software tests
· Participation in system integration to connect subsystems into an overall system
· Technical conception and implementation of GUIs
· Creation of technical documentation
Your Qualifications
· Successfully completed studies in computer science or comparable education
· Very good user knowledge in software development with C#/.NET and in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript/Angular, Webservices and Responsive Webdesign)
· Advanced database skills (SQL structural query language, database design, master/slave, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL or MariaDB)
· You value robust and maintainable code and address operational concerns through observable software
· Skilled in working with common design patterns, development methodologies and clean code principles
· Ideally knowledgeable in writing high quality code and testing for quality with unit, integration, and acceptance tests executed in an automated fashion in a continuous integration environment
· Conceptual and analytical thinking skills as well as very good understanding of processes
· Structured and independent way of working, creativity, commitment as well as team and communication skills
· Fluent English, written and spoken
· Readiness to travel
