Full job description
Who we are
Little Green Radicals is an award-winning, London-based brand making colourful, comfy clothes for free-range kids. For over 20 years, we’ve championed ethical fashion, using organic Fairtrade cotton and sustainable materials to create fantastic quality playwear made to be passed on. We’re a dynamic team growing our brand while making a positive difference to the world.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join Little Green Radicals on a maternity-cover basis. You’ll have directly relevant experience creating digital assets for a fashion or lifestyle brand, and a portfolio that demonstrates strong creative execution across ecommerce and digital marketing.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving business, ideal for someone who combines excellent design skills with commercial awareness and a proactive approach. Working closely with the Creative Director and Marketing Team, you’ll deliver creative from brief to final asset, safeguard our visual identity and support brand growth across retail, wholesale and our physical shop.
What you’ll do
- Personally create high-quality digital assets for web, email, social media and paid advertising, balancing brand storytelling with commercial objectives.
- Adapt creative for different channels and formats.
- Create campaign and promotional assets across retail, wholesale and marketplaces, plus in-store signage and printed materials for our Brixton shop.
- Manage design projects from brief to delivery, including seasonal campaigns, product launches, BAU work and wider brand initiatives, balancing planned work with reactive requests and tight deadlines.
- Own and safeguard our brand guidelines, reviewing creative across channels and helping our visual identity evolve in collaboration with the Creative Director.
- Manage our digital asset library and image workflows, keeping assets organised and accessible; liaise with external agencies or creative partners as needed.
- Help plan and organise selected photoshoots, supporting shot lists, creative input and asset delivery.
- Explore and implement AI tools to improve creative workflows, while protecting brand authenticity, quality and our ethical values.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver consistent, effective creative that supports brand and business growth.
Essential skills and experience
- Directly relevant graphic design experience within a fashion or lifestyle brand.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your own work, particularly digital assets for ecommerce, email, social media and paid campaigns.
- Excellent hands-on design skills and expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, respond to changing priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
- Strong typography, layout and visual communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience producing print-ready artwork.
- Strong organisation, communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, commercially minded approach.
Nice to have
- Motion graphics, video editing or illustration.
- Photoshoot planning, art direction or product photography.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and web design.
- Experience using AI tools in creative workflows.
- Management / mentoring a junior Graphic Designer.
- An interest in ethical fashion and sustainability.
How to apply
Please send your CV and portfolio as soon as possible. Your portfolio should clearly demonstrate your own contribution to relevant fashion or lifestyle brand projects, particularly digital design for ecommerce and marketing.
We are committed to fair and inclusive recruitment and welcome applications from all backgrounds. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
Working with us
Part-time considered and flexible working available.
