Full Stack Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen with Care Control Systems in our Development Team for a Full Stack Developer.

Care Control is a fast-growing business specialising in the design, development, and delivery of the BEST Care Digital Software in the market. Care Control was founded in 2016 and has grown from strength to strength. The coming year promises to be extremely exciting with some fantastic plans in the pipeline. We are a friendly and varied bunch based in the wonderful town of Tavistock, Devon working from a relaxed and informal office space.

With several exciting projects lined up we are now looking to expand our development team with a talented Full Stack Developer.


As a Full Stack Developer, you will:

· Work alongside in-house software developers, graphic design artists, and QA teams to develop new & existing system modules.

· Develop both front-end and back-end components for web and mobile applications.

· Translate UX design wireframes to actual code, bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.

· Ensure the reliability and performance of our production infrastructure through monitoring and active management.

· Build and maintain a robust automated test suite to support our continuous deployment environment.

· Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and client-side staff to interpret user requirements and create appropriate solutions that deliver tangible results.

· Develop high-quality software following clean architecture design patterns and best practices.

· Handle multiple projects, transforming complex layout design files into pixel-perfect web journeys.

· Become a domain expert and contribute to the direction of the product on upcoming enhancements and projects across the portfolio of work.

Technical Skills

· Demonstrate previous experience as a full stack developer, on personal or professional projects.

· Experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.

· Proficiency in back-end technologies: IIS.

· Experience working with databases: SQL.

· Familiarity with version control systems: GIT, GitHub, and Visual Studio.

· Experience with server-side frameworks: Express.js, Django, Flask, or similar.

· Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.

· Understanding and experience working with database-driven web development.

· Ability to consume backend services (OpenAPI).

· Experience documenting workflow through JIRA and Confluence.

· Have some previous experience working in an agile environment – Think two-week sprints.

· Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Preferred but non-essential technical skills

· Experience with TypeScript, Sass, and NPM.

· Experience with cloud services: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.

· Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Application development.

Job Type

· Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00 to 17:00 (30-minute lunch break), permanent.


· Base Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
