The CPD Group is a rapidly growing national and international education accreditation company based in Rothwell, Northamptonshire.

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our marketing department for an experienced and proficient Marketing Executive.

Full Time - £25,000

The Role:

This is predominantly a B2B role but also involves B2C marketing. The role requires a hands-on, creative professional who can seamlessly switch between different marketing channels and formats, with a strong focus on developing brand awareness among consumers and generating new leads. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running and scheduling of social media content, planning and creating engaging video content for our YouTube channel and other digital platforms and assisting with a wider range of marketing activities as your role progresses.

Duties

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of marketing activities for our market-leading services, based on the company's marketing strategy.
  • Big emphasis on brand management and driving brand awareness
  • Developing digital and website strategy
  • Marketing research and analysis, exploring new channels and methods to engage with new and existing clients
  • Attending CPD accredited events for educational and content creation purposes
  • Monitoring our performance using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and other relevant analytics tools
  • Producing marketing materials and assets in-house (copywriting, design, photography, video etc)
  • Managing social media, particularly our LinkedIn community
  • Creating and editing informative and promotional video content for our dedicated CPD TV channel and podcast
  • Working alongside the Business Development Team, ensuring they are aware of marketing campaigns and strategies
  • General ad-hoc marketing duties

Skills Qualities and Experience

  • A minimum of one year cross-platform marketing experience (B2B or B2C)
  • Experience of a wide range of channels, including print, PR, web, email, video, social media, advertising, events etc. (print, graphics and digital)
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of key marketing principles.
  • Well-organised, adaptable personality
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication
  • Strong copywriting/design/video skills desired
  • Experience of social media advertising is desirable
  • Experience of Google Ads advertising is desirable

Experience:

  • Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
  • Marketing: 1 year (preferred)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday (four-day week)
  • 8:30am - 5:30pm
