What we are looking for

  • 2 years of commercial experience
  • C# .NET core web development experience
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • HTML 5 / CSS 3 / JavaScript (JQuery)
  • Experience building and using RESTful APIs
  • Azure DevOps / Git

Salary : Competitive

  • Company pension scheme.
  • Hours of Work: Mon – Thur 8am - 5pm and Fri 8am - 4:30pm
  • Place of work, Avonbury Business Park Bicester (OX26 2UA)
  • Holiday Entitlement: 24 days (increasing by one day after two years’ service to a maximum of 28) + Bank Holidays.
  • Opportunity for Hybrid working after 3 months employment.

Job Purpose/ Summary

This role is for a full stack developer who will be actively involved in a full range of development projects in an agile environment.

The Company’s IT function has developed significantly in recent years and continues to do so working with many large motor manufacturers, the role will be heavily involved in the design and launch of software solutions to these clients as well as internal business management solutions. The successful applicant will maintain a keen interest in the latest technology to influence the technology strategy moving forward.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and releasing applications
  • Identifying and adopting industry best practices and policies
  • Estimating and tracking time across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Learn new technologies and adapt to change
  • Promote skills and knowledge sharing
  • Maintaining existing applications in a variety of environments

What would be nice to have

  • Experience using Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services
  • Familiar with using Bootstrap frontend toolkit.
  • UX / UI design skills
  • Knowledge of writing pipeline processes using YML
  • Mobile development using Flutter.
