Marketing Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to join our team.

On the Square Emporium is a unique expanding company dealing in antiques salvage and weird and wonderful. Our marketing is quirky and not the run of the mill. We are looking for someone who can enhance our unique vitality and help us expand and enhance our Ecommerce Marketing Strategy, through SEO paid search advertising, display, video and social media advertising, planning, writing, and executing regular and consistent campaign content across all the businesses in our portfolio.

The position is inside an established company that has been trading for 15 years and online for five years. You will be head of a small marketing team.

The perfect candidate with be passionate about online selling and promoting and will also be responsible for creating our digital marketing strategy

This role requires creativity, attention to detail, project management skills and a “can do” attitude.

Job Role

• Running and advancing our website, ecommerce, and advertising it through SEO and social media
• Keeping up to date on social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information

· Manage and regularly create interesting business content for Website and Social Media Channels

· Innovate and present fresh marketing platforms and strategies

• Further develop the website and ecommerce platform
• Develop engaging online content including graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyze content success
• Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns
• Manage email and social media marketing campaigns
• Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites
• Drive traffic to company pages
• Ensure consistency and integrity across all digital content

· Keeping company website up to date with regular new content

· Manage and populate online selling through website and online social media shops and auction.

· Communicate courteously with internal and external customers by telephone, email and face to face building positive relationships investigating responding to and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time.

· To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided, at all times, to customers and colleagues.

· Ensure a proficient level of understanding and knowledge of our company’s products and services.

Criteria. (desirable)

· Marketing or, business related degree

· Previous working experience in web and social media desirable but not essential

· Experience of using graphic design software

· Experience or knowledge in digital marketing concepts and best practices

· Strong knowledge of the social media landscape

· Ability to work under pressure

· Knowledge of budgeting

· Good analytical mindset and creative thinking

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to take the initiative

· Able to work independently

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Self-motivated

· Hardworking

· Proficient in full Microsoft suite

· Knowledge of paid advertising, email marketing and graphic design

· Knowledge of search engine optimization and conversion best practice
