Video and Digital Designer

We are looking for a Digital Designer / Video Editor to join our team within a fast paced events company. The role will require input on a number of exciting and varied design projects - mainly video projects and design.
The role is ideally suited to a recent graduate that is well qualified or equally to a candidate with agency experience. With a flair for high-quality design and content, you will collaborate with the wider team to deliver campaign assets, multi-channel promotional material and graphics for the group and its nationwide events, campaigns, artists, promoters and tours.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience in a design role in music, brand, media or entertainment
- Strong working knowledge of layout and design for websites and video content, from conception to final realisation
- Confident and knowledgeable in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects and web-based applications
- Some knowledge of Scripting and Coding (Html, python, java script), Canva, Adobe Dream Weaver & other equivalent non Adobe products preferred.
- Credible portfolio of work and brand management experience
- Experience in video editing and animation
- Passion for design, marketing, content and social media
- Motivated by impact-led design to ensure all campaign activity aligns
Your responsibilities will include:
- Work with the Head of Digital & Design to develop visual assets and promotional material for the key strategic business objectives
- Liaise daily with the department leads (digital marketing, social and content, marketing, PR) to produce creative assets for a wide variety of media, including but not limited to; print, digital, presentations, corporate and social media
- Create unique digital content for all relevant promotional channels and projects
- Develop layout, design and branding from concept to final realisation
- Ensure that a high volume of artwork and design elements are delivered in a timely manner
- Manage and monitor multiple projects throughout the various stages of development
- Understand best practice across social and paid media channels
- Strive for best-in-class creative output
- Promote good communication and respond to feedback
- Work within company brand guidelines and style guides
- Manage, brief and oversee relationships with any external designers as required
- Identify and communicate key design and creative trends, formats and insights
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Video Editing (essential)
- At Least 1 years experience (preferred)
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Dynamic and creative
- Excellent communicator
- Strong project management skills
- A team player and collaborative by nature
- Accountable with a strong sense of time management
- Extremely organised, self-motivated and deadline-driven
- Positive, with a proactive, can-do attitude and solutions focussed
