Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Nottingham (Office Based)

Reports into: Trade Director

Salary: £35k-£45k per annum

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead the visual development of our brand across digital, print, and multimedia platforms. The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker with a strong design aesthetic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for creating impactful visual content that communicates our message effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute design projects from concept to delivery across various platforms (web, print, social media, advertising, packaging, etc.)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, trade, and development to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment
• Supervise and mentor junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure adherence across all channels
• Translate marketing strategies into compelling visual campaigns and storytelling
• Present ideas and creative concepts to internal stakeholders and leadership
• Stay current with design trends, techniques, and best practices
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or related field
• 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.
• Proficiency in Figma
• Excellent typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
• Strong understanding of branding, color theory, and composition

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Excellent time management and communication skills

Advantageous if you have:

• Experience in motion graphics, video editing, or animation
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with print production and packaging design
