Full job description
We are a leading digital marketing technology and services provider focused on the financial services industry. We are looking for talented Mid-level Full Stack .NET Developers to join our dynamic and diverse development team. In this role, you’ll be directly involved in designing, maintaining, and coding new features while working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to deliver secure, scalable, engaging, and intuitive digital experiences for our clients.
This is a remote role with the occasional visit to our office in Stevenage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code to improve system performance.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them effectively.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in ASP.NET MVC for web application development.
- Strong programming skills in C# or VB.NET.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database design.
- Strong knowledge of modern web standards: HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex challenges.
- A desire to create clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
Beneficial Skills:
- Experience with Entity Framework or other Object Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.
- JavaScript knowledge, including modern frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with .NET Core.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of defensive coding practices.
- Experience in working with large datasets.
- Ability to write scalable code for high-performance applications.
