We are looking for a Mid to Senior PHP/Laravel Backend Developer to join our growing Development Team. In this role, you will take ownership of high-quality, scalable backend solutions, mentor junior and/or mid-level developers, and drive best practices to deliver robust, maintainable systems.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of scalable and high-performing backend applications.
Take projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and smooth delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of learning.
Maintain best practices for testing, security, and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and development trends.
Core Tech Stack
Languages & Frameworks: PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, React, SQL
Databases: Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Aurora
DevOps & Tools: AWS, Docker, GitLab, GitLab CI, Datadog
What We’re Looking For
Significant experience and understanding of PHP & Laravel (A minimum of 3 years experience)
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and API design.
Proficiency in writing maintainable, optimized and scalable code.
Experience with database management and advanced queries.
Familiarity with DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and deployment pipelines.
Strong communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to oversee projects, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth execution.
Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.
An adaptable and proactive mindset with a passion for innovation.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
Interest in ML/AI and implementing it in production environments.
Experience with RESTful Web Services and hybrid mobile app development.
