Full job description

About the role

We’re looking for a Brand Designer to own how our brands look: the products we make, the packaging they arrive in and everything we put online to sell them.

Victory Brands is an independent brand house based in Cheltenham. We invent our own consumer brands and take each one the whole way: product design, packaging, manufacturing, the website, the advertising and the parcel that lands on the doormat.

What you’ll do

  • Design everything our brands put in front of customers: social media posts, web banners, email graphics and ads.
  • Create the products themselves, from the artwork on a card or a print to the box it arrives in.
  • Design packaging that survives the post and looks incredible when it lands on the doormat.
  • Keep the look and feel consistent for each brand across the website, advertising and product.
  • Prepare print-ready files and work with our manufacturing partners to make sure what’s printed matches what you designed.
  • Take a rough idea from the team and turn it into something finished, quickly.

What you’ll bring

  • Hands-on experience designing for both screen and print, ideally for a consumer product or ecommerce brand.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, and comfort with print specs, bleeds and colour profiles.
  • A habit of looking at everything we make and wanting to improve it.
  • A good feel for what customers will actually want to see, hold and keep.
  • An interest in motorsport helps, but caring about the details helps more.

Bonus points for

  • Photography, especially product shots for web and social.
  • Video editing for short-form social content.

This is a hybrid role, so you will be required to attend our office in Cheltenham at least 4 days a week.

Why Victory Brands

We’re a small, young team already shipping thousands of orders a week to customers who love what we make. There are no board meetings to sit through; you’ll work directly with the founders. It’s fast and it’s fun: you’ll watch a new idea go from a conversation in the office to real orders in a matter of weeks, and have a hand in most of the steps between.
