As well as facilitating improved organisation-wide communication and increased collaboration and engagement, our customers are able to securely store, manage, and provide ease of access to their mission-critical documents. Cloud Design Box helps drive operational efficiencies and improve operational productivity and performance.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is an opportunity to get ‘hands-on’ with the marketing efforts of a successful, small but ambitious education company focused primarily on the multi-academy trusts and secondary markets in the UK.
The role will require a mix of digital marketing expertise as well as experience implementing more traditional marketing tactics, as required to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will have the chance to take the lead on some innovative campaigns – to increase awareness and preference for the CDB proposition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Input to, and execute on, the company’s strategy and marketing plan to generate opportunities that result in new customer sales.
· Collaborate with the product development and sales teams to produce relevant copy for each of our communications channels, including the website, collateral, events materials, presentations, demonstrations etc..
· Tune-in to the key market drivers within each CDB target segment and author or commission appropriate issues based content that demonstrates thought leadership.
· Produce, manage and deliver content / conversation calendars that ensure regular, relevant and engaging content is delivered on time to meet the marketing objectives. This is likely to include e-books, infographics, opinion articles, news items etc.
· Manage the CDB website and deliver improvements to key performance indicators such as user volume, bounce, conversion rates, time spent on site etc. Ensure it is optimised for the search engines as well as for users.
· Research, plan, organise and manage the company’s participation at key industry events.
· Manage and curate customer and prospect data, utilising third party providers as appropriate.
· Develop and manage email and traditional direct mail outreach to prospect for uncover new leads and nurture previous interest to opportunity.
· Develop and implement CDB’s social media strategy and manage our social channels to ensure we are growing our following and driving engagement which impacts on lead generation.
· Develop and assess the on-going viability of demand generation utilising digital advertising: social, search and display.
· Manage the marketing budget on an on-going basis, ensuring that it is as accurate as possible and that spend is within agreed parameters at all times.
· Report monthly on the performance of all marketing efforts.
· Be the Company’s primary ambassador for the CDB brand.
JOB SKILLS:
· Demonstrable experience of delivering results from a broad range of marketing tactics, both online and offline, is essential.
· The successful applicant will ideally have a business,English or journalism degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing role.
· A familiarity with, and understanding of, the education sector is pivotal for success.
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills with an excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent planning abilities.
· A font of inspiration for content ideas and skilled at both long-form and real-time content creation and distribution, with a track record of delivering quality content on deadline.
· Interested in learning about the latest platforms, technology tools and marketing solutions that can add value to the business.
· Demonstrable experience of using CRM and CMS, web analytics tools, social media posting and monitoring applications, e-mail broadcast platforms, and search tools is imperative.
· Skills with Adobe design packages, useful - a working knowledge of Canva, essential.
