About us

Hunt Forest Group is a family-run, expanding and ambitious company operating throughout the South of England. With more than 50 years of industry experience, we are one of the largest John Deere dealerships in the country, supporting customers across agriculture, professional turf, grounds care, garden machinery and construction.

We value hard work, creativity and initiative. Our people are not simply employees; each person plays an important role in the success and development of the business. In return, we provide strong benefits, job security and the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced and evolving industry.

We support continuous professional development and encourage everyone to develop their skills, fulfil their potential and help the business achieve its ambitions.

About you

Are you a creative, digitally minded designer who can turn a brief into finished marketing material? Do you enjoy producing social media artwork, building email campaigns and finding fresh ways to bring products, services and promotions to life?

We are looking for someone with a strong visual eye, excellent Adobe Creative Cloud skills and practical experience with email marketing software such as Mailchimp. You will be comfortable moving between digital design, email campaigns, social media and advertising assets, while keeping every piece of work accurate, engaging and consistent with our brands.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys making things happen. You will be able to work independently from a brief, manage several priorities and collaborate closely with the Group Marketing Manager, colleagues across our branches and the wider business.

If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you and welcome you to the Hunt Forest Group team as we continue growing together.

About the role:

The Digital Marketing Designer will increase Hunt Forest Groups in-house creative capacity and help deliver high-quality marketing across social media, email, digital advertising and the company website. Working closely with the Group Marketing Manager, you will create finished assets and campaigns that support the Groups brands, products, services and commercial priorities.

  • Create and edit digital artwork for organic and paid social media campaigns.
  • Design and build engaging email campaigns using Mailchimp or comparable email marketing software.
  • Produce artwork and campaign material for regular HFG communications, including customer newsletters and targeted product or aftermarket campaigns.
  • Create campaign concepts and take briefs through to accurate, polished finished artwork.
  • Support the creation and editing of short-form video for social media and other digital channels when required.
  • Support occasional photography and filming at HFG branches, customer sites, events and machinery demonstrations when required.
  • Create digital advertising assets in the sizes and formats required for Meta, Google and other campaign channels.
  • Produce website graphics, banners and supporting digital assets.
  • Adapt creative consistently across multiple channels while following HFG and manufacturer brand guidelines.

Relevant Skills/Experience:

Essential:

  • Commercial experience in graphic design, digital design or a closely related creative marketing role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign; experience with Premiere Pro or similar video editing software would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable graphic design ability, supported by a portfolio of relevant work.
  • Experience creating artwork specifically for social media and digital campaigns.
  • Experience designing and building campaigns in Mailchimp or comparable email marketing software.
  • A working knowledge of video editing and the ability to support the creation of short-form digital content.
  • A strong visual eye and a clear understanding of layout, typography, imagery and brand consistency.
  • Ability to take a brief from initial concept through to finished artwork with limited supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to proofread creative work accurately.
  • Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple briefs, priorities and deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of artwork preparation and design for print.
  • Experience creating assets for paid social media and Google advertising campaigns.
  • Photography and filming experience, particularly involving products, machinery, people or events.
  • Experience producing website content or working with a content management system.
  • Experience using CapCut or similar mobile-first video editing software.
  • An interest in agriculture, professional turf, grounds care, garden machinery, construction equipment or rural industries.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £30,000£34,000 depending on experience.
