Software Engineer

Following continued expansion, we are adding to our development team and as such are seeking a passionate Software Developer of Mid-Level/High Level experience. We work closely together as a team and as such we are looking for a great communicator with solid interpersonal skills.

You will be developing new solutions, and maintaining a legacy system, that is in the process of being migrated to a newer format, including removing the use of a now defunct 3rd Party Framework.

We use the following Technologies, so experience with them is beneficial, but training will be provided both initially and as part of our ongoing training program.

· ASP.NET MVC

· C#.NET

· CSS

· SQL

· Understanding of the practical application of agile development methods

· TFS

· JavaScript/JQuery

· Microsoft Reporting Services

· TDD/Unit Testing

What is your Day to Day?

· Assist in the implementation of technical design standards

· Assist in the continuous development of agreed coding standards

· Develop code to meet user requirements

· Perform and quality assure regression testing of core code to ensure no impact on unchanged functionality

· Identify areas for; support delivery and quality assure improvements in existing systems and processes to reduce support overhead, cost of ownership and Improve the customer experience

· Provide support and maintenance of operational applications and database code

· Troubleshoot, resolve and document end user problems

· Work with the team to ensure all projects are managed to time, scope and quality

· Develop and quality assure code to ensure all code meets the internal coding standards

· Support other Software Developers and team members

If successful you will be joining a team of Software Developers responsible for designing, developing, testing, delivering and supporting inhouse software which is Web Based, Mobile based and Windows Application based.
