Purpose of the role

The Campaign Executive will support the campaign managers, and be responsible for running and reporting on projects, including the creation of collateral, development and execution of content. The post holder will be required to collaborate with members of the marketing team to develop and execute across all channels delivering against ambitious commercial objectives. The job holder will also be responsible for aspects of event management.

Key Responsibilities

Main

  • Event co-ordination and management by supporting venue bookings, co-ordinating and assigning merchandise and other stand equipment and being responsible for stock management and liaising with suppliers as needed.
  • Input into the overall marketing plans to suggest where content marketing could and should be utilised to help achieve overall marketing KPIs.
  • Produce content for, but not limited to website, blog posts, social media, direct mail, infographics, whitepapers, newsletters, videos and case studies.
  • Coordinate and manage projects from the marketing calendar for our different audiences and business areas.
  • Identify opportunities to effectively repurpose digital content across other channels and coordinate those opportunities through to execution.
  • Maintain website content to ensure it is all up-to-date, factually accurate and in line with the content plan, campaigns, digital best practice, brand and SEO strategy.
  • Support to write, implement and oversee copy on web pages, ensuring it is user friendly, engaging and optimised for search engines. This will include anything from small product pages to important landing pages and FAQ pages.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.
  • Contribute to the communications calendar and make sure it is updated, to support effective planning and scheduling of our externally facing activity.
  • Management of brand collateral requests from the wider business, ensuring they protect the brand and advise which content is required to suit the business needs.

  • Undertake any training relevant to the efficient execution of any of the above duties and take responsibility for his/her own professional development
  • Undertake necessary Health and Safety responsibilities and duties as required by this post
  • Undertake any necessary data protection responsibilities and duties as required by the post
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as directed by Line Management from time to time
  • Ensure the office is clean and tidy and clear desk policy is adhered to.


Skills and Experience (essential)

  • GCSEs at grade A – C in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Experience of co-ordinating and managing events
  • Experience of using Eventbrite booking system
  • Ability to work on numerous multi-channel campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience of using design platforms such as InDesign, Canva, Adobe etc
  • Proven knowledge of marketing practices and channels
  • Proven experience in content development and short form copywriting
  • Good analytical mindset- able to analyse metrics/trends and results to drive campaign efficiencies
  • Meticulous planning, organisation, attention to detail, tenacity, with excellent communication
  • Ability to communicate at multiple levels
  • Demonstrable strong project management capability
  • Problem solving skills

  • Structured and organised approach
  • An eye for detail and methodical manner
  • Ability to multitask
  • High level of accuracy
  • IT proficient with an ability to use all Microsoft Office programmes particularly Word, Excel and Outlook and a familiarity with other bespoke databases


Skills and Experience (desirable)

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Familiar with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot
