Full job description
An exciting internship has arisen for a bright and ambitious web designer and programmer to join the growing team of Weddings & Honeymoons Media, the publishers behind two of Britain's biggest wedding magazines (Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine & Destination Weddings) and the Modern Day Icons range of music magazines.
You will learn and develop alongside the editorial team on how to design and create exciting and snappy features as well as developing the online presence
Imaginative ideas and clear communication are vital..
The role consists of...
- Supporting the on line design and editorial team
- Designing and laying out adverts
- Learning how to contribute and design enhancements to wordpress website
- Cutting out images and developing Photoshop skills
- Study how to ensure images are online and print ready
- Source imagery from PRs and image libraries
- A (very) keen eye for detail
This is a great opportunity to learn and develop a variety of skills about online publishing and enhance writing and proofing skills.
The successful candidate will have one, or both, of the below qualifications....
- Design/English/Communication based A Level/BTEC or Equivalent (required)
- Industry related degree (persuasive)
