Job Title; Web Manager (Full Stack)
Location; Gateshead, hybrid working
Salary; Negotiable depending on experience

Our client, based in the North East, is seeking an experienced Web Manager to manage and optimize web presence, ensuring seamless integration between the website and marketing systems. This role is crucial for enhancing user experiences, website performance, and conversion rates. You will have a direct impact on business and brand growth by managing their digital landscape across multiple websites. Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing and collaborating with regional marketing teams and the CTO, you will develop strategies to drive website traffic and create sales opportunities through optimized user experiences, leading to increased revenue.

Key responsibilities;
  • Manage and update website content using WordPress.
  • Manage tracking and analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and HubSpot integration.
  • Ensure seamless interaction between the websites and HubSpot for accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Implement strategies to improve website conversion rates.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to inform optimization decisions.
  • Enhance user experience through intuitive design and seamless navigation.
  • Regularly review and update website design and functionality based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Work closely with the SEO team to implement best practices.
  • Ensure all website projects are executed efficiently and align with business goals.

Skills and experience;
  • 3 years of commercial experience in a full-stack web development role or similar.
  • Proficiency in WordPress.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with HubSpot integration.
  • Expertise in GA4 and website tracking.
  • Understanding of cookies, website security, and GDPR/PECR compliance.
  • Knowledge of website performance best practices and techniques.
  • Familiarity with website conversion best practices and techniques.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and strategies.
  • Ability to leverage analytics to make data-driven decisions.
