SEO and Digital
Growth Manager

Website ownership and search marketing

Full-time, in-house role at Syn-Star.

Location: Petersfield, Hampshire - Hybrid

Help make Syn-Star the first name businesses find for IT support.

We have a clear ambition: make Syn-Star the number one IT support website for the searches that matter across the south of England. We want an experienced digital marketer to take ownership of that challenge.

You will lead the development of syn-star.co.uk, build better pages and grow our visibility across search engines and AI search. You will also run paid campaigns that bring the right businesses to our door.

You will shape the plan with us and put it into action. We will help you understand our clients, develop the strategy and agree priorities. You will have a real say in where the website goes next.

What you will own

· The website: create, edit and improve WordPress pages, landing pages and the journeys that turn visitors into enquiries.

· SEO: improve technical performance, content and local search visibility, with an initial focus on Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.

· PPC: plan, run and improve Google Ads campaigns within agreed budgets, with clear reporting on lead quality and cost.

· AI search: test ways to improve how Syn-Star is discovered and represented in AI search and answer tools.

· Content: work with our team to turn real expertise, client questions and case studies into useful website content.

· Results: connect rankings, traffic and campaign activity to qualified enquiries, sales opportunities and new business.

Experience and application you will bring

· Proven SEO experience, with examples of improvements you personally delivered and the business results they produced.

· Experience managing PPC campaigns, including budgets, targeting, search terms, conversion tracking and ongoing optimisation.

· Confidence building and editing pages in WordPress, with a good eye for clear content and an easy customer journey.

· Practical experience testing AI search optimisation, sometimes called AEO or GEO, and a willingness to keep learning as it develops.

· Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console, plus the ability to explain performance in plain English.

· Good writing, organisation and judgement. You can build a plan, prioritise the useful work and get it finished.

Useful extras

· HubSpot experience, especially forms, lead capture, CRM reporting and marketing automation. Preferred, but not essential.

· Experience generating leads for B2B services or growing a business across several local areas.

· Conversion testing, basic HTML and CSS, or experience briefing designers and developers.

Why work with us

Syn-Star helps businesses get reliable IT and stronger cybersecurity. Our clients need clear advice and a partner they can trust. We want the website to make that value obvious.

This is a full-time role with ownership of one brand and a long-term project you can make your own. You will work closely with our founder and wider team, with support to turn ideas into a clear strategy. You will be able to see the effect of your work on the business.
