Job Description

Information Tech Consultants Ltd is looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in London. In this role, you will design, automate, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure while supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
  • Manage version control using Git.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Provision infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud environments.
  • Follow cloud security, compliance, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
  • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Practical experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or CloudFormation, Git, and Linux.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or another scripting language.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Educational Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or another related STEM discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications are an advantage.

Preferred

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
  • Experience working in Agile and consulting environments.
