Location: Birmingham, Office-based
Contract: Full time, permanent contract (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: up to £35,000 depending on experience

Role Overview

We're looking for an SEO Executive to help drive organic growth across our portfolio of e-commerce websites.

Reporting to the Head of SEO, you'll support the planning, implementation and optimisation of SEO strategies that improve search visibility, increase qualified traffic and deliver commercial growth. Working closely with Content, Development, UX and Product teams, you'll ensure SEO best practices are embedded across new and existing projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical and on-page SEO knowledge who enjoys working with data, solving problems and contributing to the growth of high-performing websites.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the delivery of the company's SEO strategy across multiple websites

· Carry out keyword research to identify new opportunities for traffic and revenue growth

· Optimise existing website content, metadata and site architecture

· Conduct technical SEO audits and work with developers to resolve issues

· Monitor website performance, rankings and organic traffic using industry-leading tools

· Identify crawl, indexing and site health issues and recommend improvements

· Support content planning through keyword analysis and search intent research

· Perform competitor analysis and identify opportunities to outperform competitors

· Assist with internal linking strategies and website architecture improvements

· Monitor Core Web Vitals and collaborate with development teams on performance improvements

· Produce regular SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights

· Keep up to date with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practice

· Work collaboratively across Marketing, Product, Development and UX teams to deliver SEO improvements

Skills & Experience

· Experience in an SEO Executive or similar digital marketing role

· Strong understanding of technical, on-page and content SEO principles

· Experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush or Ahrefs

· Understanding of keyword research and search intent

· Familiarity with HTML, CSS and basic technical website structures

· Experience identifying and resolving technical SEO issues

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams

· Experience working within e-commerce is desirable

· Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, structured data and JavaScript SEO is desirable

· Experience with international SEO is desirable
