Weekend Delivery Driver – Grays (RM20) | £137.70 per Route | Van & Fuel Provided

Looking to earn extra money at weekends? Join SNM Medway Logistics (SNMM) as a self-employed delivery driver at our Grays / West Thurrock depot (RM20 3AL).

Earn £137.70 per standard delivery route, with opportunities to earn up to £170 per day when additional paid support work is available.

Whether you’re looking for a second income or regular weekend work, we offer weekly payments, full training and a supportive local team.

No previous delivery experience required — we’ll train you!

Pay & Benefits

  • £137.70 per standard 9-hour route, after the £8 daily van and insurance charge, before tax.
  • Up to £170 per day when additional paid support work is available and completed.
  • Weekly payments every Friday (B2B payment arrangement, two weeks in arrears).

Weekend Working Schedule

This opportunity is ideal for drivers looking for part-time work alongside other commitments.

  • Working days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Availability: At least 2 out of these 3 days.
  • Typical route duration: Approximately 9 hours.
  • Depot: Grays / West Thurrock, RM20 3AL.
  • Work type: Self-employed, part-time weekend delivery work.

Routes and working days are allocated according to operational requirements and agreed availability.

What Does the Job Involve?

You’ll deliver parcels to customers across local delivery areas using a company-arranged van and a pre-planned route.

Your typical day includes:

  • Arriving at our Grays depot to collect your assigned van and route.
  • Following a planned delivery route using the delivery app.
  • Completing approximately 150 stops, depending on the route.
  • Returning to the depot after completing your deliveries.
  • Taking on additional paid support work when available, if you’d like to increase your earnings.

You’ll receive training and ongoing support from our local operations team.

What You’ll Need

To qualify, you must:

  • Be 21 years old or over (commercial insurance requirement).
  • Hold a full manual UK or EU driving licence for at least 12 months.
  • Have no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Have no active driving bans within the last 3 years.
  • Have no driving endorsements in the following categories: UT, DR, DG, DD, BA, IN, AC, CD, LC30–50, MS50–90, MR, TT.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Be able to pass a basic DBS check, subject to the role’s eligibility requirements.
  • Be available for at least 2 days between Friday and Sunday.
