Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Weekend Caretaker to join our team, dedicated to maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of our facilities during weekend hours. This vital role ensures that the environment remains welcoming, secure, and well-maintained for visitors, staff, and community members alike. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or security concerns.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure the facility remains tidy and presentable throughout the weekend.
  • Monitor security systems and perform access control duties to safeguard the property during off-hours.
  • Respond promptly to any maintenance requests or emergency situations that arise during your shift.
  • Assist visitors or staff with directions or support as needed, creating a positive environment for all.
  • Document any incidents, maintenance activities, or security breaches accurately in logs and reports.
  • Collaborate with other team members or emergency responders in case of urgent situations to ensure swift resolution.

Experience

  • Previous experience in building maintenance, security, or facilities management is preferred but not required.
  • Strong observational skills with an eye for detail and safety compliance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively report issues or incidents.
  • Physical ability to perform light lifting, cleaning tasks, and stand for extended periods during shifts.
