Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering assistant/assistant to oversee our catering operations at events around the uk. Based in sudbury so this is vital you are local to this location. This role requires a blend of , team work leading to potential management and a commitment to food safety standards is essential.

Duties

  • Be part of a team and Lead and supervise the catering team to ensure smooth operations during events.
  • Erect a pop up gazebo and bbq
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food production areas.
  • Oversee the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages at events.
  • Manage inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
  • Strong outgoing candidate, with love of bbqs and the outdoors
  • Handle any issues or complaints that may arise during events promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a catering role or similar position within the events/bar industry. Fast pace.
  • Strong team skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding service to ensure memorable experiences for customers.

Initially looking for assistant to work toward running stall with there own team. Forwarding thinking and multi tasking is a must. Heavy lifting and long hours. 90% weekend work with odd week day work. Seasonal April till Christmas
