Training & Support

No previous multi-drop experience? No problem — full training is provided.

Your training includes:

• 1 day paid classroom training, including safety
• 2 days paid ride-along training with an experienced driver
• 11 days paid on-road training at reduced package rates while you build confidence and get up to speed

You’ll have support throughout your onboarding to help you become a confident and successful delivery driver.

The Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will:

• Safely operate a delivery van up to 3.5 tonnes during a 9-hour shift
• Load and unload your van from a staging area, with parcels pre-staged and allocated load times
• Handle packages weighing up to 23kg
• Deliver parcels safely and efficiently to customers
• Communicate effectively with customers and the operations team
• Follow all driving, traffic and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery
• Work independently using your own initiative while also being part of a supportive team
• Follow all safe delivery procedures covered during training
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness throughout your working day

Minimum Requirements

• Multi-drop delivery experience is preferred but not essential – full training is provided
• Must have the right to work in the UK – essential
• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Maximum 6 points on your licence
• No IN, DR or TT codes
• Minimum 1 year driving experience is preferred but not essential
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check at no cost to you
• Must have your own transport to and from the depot
• Access to a smartphone or smart device and the ability to learn and use new technology
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to providing excellent customer service
