Evening and Weekend Support Worker – Our Way Leeds (OWL)

Part Time - 22.5 hours per week

£17075.68 plus weekend working enhancement

25 days pro rata, rising to 30 days pro rata after two years

Do you want the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of young people? This could be the job for you!

Turning Lives Around is recruiting for the Our Way Leeds evening & weekend team. Our Way Leeds is a consortium service delivered by Turning Lives Around, Inspire North and Gipsil, offering accommodation to empower young people aged 16-25 to live independently.

As an OWL Evening and Weekend Support Worker you will work within an Ofsted registered service, as part of a team providing 24/7 support to 15 young people. You will be supporting young people to develop their independent living skills and helping the team look after our properties and report repairs, turn around empty properties for reletting, and take care of housing management matters.

We would like to hear from you if:

  • You have experience in housing or health and social care
  • You are passionate about engaging young people in activities that support their wellbeing
  • You have an understanding of tenancy support and the issues faced by Young People
  • You are able to work on a rota basis – please see job description for further information
