We have a new opportunity to join our Durham Showroom as a Casual Delivery Driver on a 0 hour contract basis!

As a Carsa Delivery Driver you will provide a professional and friendly service while delivering cars to customers homes. In some cases, this will be the only time they will see a Carsa representative and we'll expect you to be an excellent ambassador for the brand. When not delivering cars to customers, movement of vehicles between locations will be required.

Hours: Due to the nature of this role, no hours are guaranteed by either party. You will be paid only for actual hours worked. Hours of work may vary from day to day, depending upon operational requirements so applicants will have a flexible attitude to work the ad-hoc hours required. We operate 7 days a week, with cover needed across weekdays and weekends. Please specify your working availability alongside your application.

Full Key Responsibilities

• To safely and responsibly transfer vehicles to customers ensuring delivery is on time
• To ensure the vehicles are secure at all times
• To ensure vehicles are driven in a safe and responsible manner
• To communicate with site managers when necessary to help manage customers’ expectations for delivery times
• Work with other teams to make sure the right cars are moved to the right locations in a timely manner
• To work efficiently to maximize daily delivery performance

What you need:

• Full Valid Driving Licence
• No more than six minor penalty points and no disqualifications in the last 5 years
• You will also know about transport legislation and be able to load and unload cars
• Experience within a customer facing role
• Have energy and the confidence to proactively talk to customers to build a rapport with them
• You are natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of whatever you do
• You have energy and drive to deliver beyond expectation
• You do the right thing whether everything is going well or times are tough, and know how to consistently be at your best, you inspire confidence in those around you
