Airtrace® Sheet Metal Ltd have a great opportunity for a Full Time – Skilled Mig Welder/Fabricator to join our successful, fast-paced team. We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals who have experience in steel fabrication and MIG Welding. Starting salary ranges from £34,200 to £36,000, however you willbe paid according to skill level and experience.

Airtrace® Sheet Metal are one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of supply-only sheet metal ductwork. From our substantial manufacturing plant in East Sussex, we supply ductwork to contractors needing high-quality ductwork at a competitive price, with a fast turnaround. We specialise in the fabrication of sheet metal and ductwork for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry, manufacturing to the highest standards.

We have vacancies on the following shift:

Late Shift: 4.00pm to 1.00am. The position is working Monday to Firday, 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Structural steels and builders beams
  • Railings and gates
  • Steel tables
  • RSA mating frames
  • Bespoke fabrication projects of all kinds
  • Adhering to Health & Safety Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Stick weld, Gas and Tig welding are not essential but would be a benefit.
  • Coded welder is not essential, but would also be a benefit.
  • Must be able to read and understand steelwork drawings and sketches.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality.
  • Ability to follow Health and Safety regulations.
  • The successful applicant needs to be able to work both independently and, in a team, and have a flexible and adaptable approach to their work.
