About Us:

MB Executive Motor Company is a growing independent used car dealership. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Level 2 Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for sale, carrying out routine maintenance and repairs, and helping ensure all our vehicles meet our high standards before reaching customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.

Replacing brakes, suspension components and other mechanical parts.

Conducting vehicle health checks and pre-sale inspections.

Identifying and reporting mechanical faults.

Carrying out MOT preparation and repairs.

Assisting with vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.

Preparing vehicles to a high standard before sale.

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop.

Requirements:

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, IMI or equivalent).

Previous experience working in a garage or workshop preferred.

Good understanding of vehicle servicing and general mechanical repairs.

Ability to work independently on routine tasks and as part of a team.

Full UK driving licence preferred.

Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Willingness to learn and develop mechanical and diagnostic skills.
