About the role and team

Mole Valley Life
(operated by Mole Valley District Council) is dedicated to helping older and vulnerable people live gloriously ordinary lives, both safely and independently through Technology Enabled Care (TEC), Community Transport, and proactive wellbeing services.

As the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) & Corporate Services Manager, you will play a critical operational and strategic leadership role in delivering 24/7 lifeline support and corporate monitoring services across our community. Acting as the Design Authority on behalf of Mole Valley Life, you will oversee end-to-end service resilience, lead high-performing teams, manage contract relationships, and drive continuous improvement in line with TSA Quality Standards Framework (QSF) standards.

This role directly supports the Council’s strategic goal to foster safe, healthy, and independent communities while growing corporate proactive and monitoring partnerships. You will lead, mentor, and manage Control Centre Team Managers, Emergency Call Handlers, Proactive Services, and Community Wellbeing Responders, fostering a supportive, integrated, and high-performing team environment. Full induction and continuous professional development in TEC platforms and leadership will be provided.

What we are looking for from you
Experience & Leadership: Substantial experience in a similar operational environment managing teams, preparing shift rotas, and delivering support services for older or vulnerable individuals.

Contract & Stakeholder Management:
Demonstrable experience in managing contract performance, stakeholder engagement, client liaison, and business development.

Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of call handling platforms (ideally Enovation UMO), business continuity planning, risk management, GDPR, and Safeguarding legislation.

Education & Qualifications:
Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant industry experience. First Aid at Work certified (or willing to obtain).

Requirements & Licenses:
Full UK Driver’s Licence (maximum 6 points). Willingness to participate in on-call emergency procedures and work flexible hours/shifts to support 24/7 service coverage.

Mole Valley Life operates a TSA QSF-accredited 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre delivering vital Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services, proactive wellbeing calls, and community support.
