As our business continues to grow, we are looking to expand our Protection Team by appointing a dedicated Protection Advisor to help clients protect their homes, families, income, and financial future.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded individual to join a growing financial services business with access to a consistent stream of warm leads generated through our mortgage brokerage.

Rather than spending your time cold calling or self-generating business, you will be working with clients who already require advice as part of their property and mortgage journey.

You will be responsible for identifying clients' protection needs, delivering tailored recommendations and helping clients put the right cover in place to protect what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

Protection Advice

• Advising clients on Life Insurance
• Advising clients on Critical Illness Cover
• Advising clients on Income Protection
• Advising clients on Family Protection and Mortgage Protection products
• Conducting client fact-finds and needs assessments
• Reviewing existing policies and identifying protection gaps
• Delivering compliant, tailored and client-focused recommendations

Home Insurance

• Arranging Buildings & Contents Insurance policies
• Reviewing existing insurance arrangements
• Identifying opportunities to improve cover and value for clients

Professional Services Referrals

• Introducing clients to trusted conveyancing and legal partners
• Maximising opportunities from existing client relationships
• Supporting clients throughout their property journey

Client Relationship Management

• Managing clients throughout the protection process
• Maintaining regular communication and follow-up
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Building long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
• Maintaining accurate records within our CRM system

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong consultative sales ability
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Organised with strong attention to detail
• Highly motivated and target-driven
• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Reside within a Bromley postcode area or nearby

Desirable

• Experience within Protection Advice
• Experience selling Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover or Income Protection
• Experience within Financial Services
• Mortgage industry experience
• Insurance experience
• CeMAP and/or RO5 qualifications (Beneficial and not necessary)

Full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.

Working Hours

• Full-Time
• Monday to Saturday rota
• 9:00am – 6:00pm
• One weekday off each week

Office Location

This role will be based across our Beckenham and West Wickham offices, with the successful candidate expected to work from either location as needed.
