Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Provide excellent guest service by answering questions about menu items, specials, and dietary options
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure guest health and safety standards are met
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
  • Assist in setting up dining areas before service and cleaning up after closing shifts

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential
  • Familiarity with serving procedures, food safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques
  • Strong communication skills combined with excellent guest service abilities are essential for success in this role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment helps you stay organized under pressure

Weekly tronc tips on top of your wage. Weekend and evening availability is a must. Approximately 8-15 hours per week. More hours may come available. Availability over the busy festive period is essential.
