We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Resourcer (Trainee Recruitment Consultant) to join our friendly team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career within the recruitment industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the recruitment process through lead generation, relationship management, and utilisation of various applicant tracking systems (ATS). This position is ideal for individuals eager to gain practical experience in talent acquisition and client management within a fast-paced environment.

OHUK is a family run recruitment business that have been running for 15 years. We specialise within the mechanical and electrical sector of the industry placing blue collar temporary staff as well as permanent white collar individuals to the industry.

Due to continued growth, our White Collar team is looking to recruit a Recruitment Resourcer who is eager to learn, develop, and build a long-term career within recruitment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job. We're looking for an ambitious individual with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to progress into a Trainee Recruitment Consultant role.

Previous recruitment experience is not essential. However, some form of sales, customer service, or telephone-based experience would be highly beneficial, as the role involves speaking with candidates daily and learning the fundamentals of the recruitment process.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working closely with and shadowing our Senior Consultants.
  • Sourcing suitable candidates for live vacancies.
  • Conducting candidate screening and initial vetting processes.
  • Building relationships with candidates and maintaining regular contact.
  • Learning the recruitment process from the ground up.
  • Supporting the team with administrative and recruitment-related tasks.
  • Developing the skills and knowledge required to progress into a Trainee Consultant position.

  • Previous sales, customer service, or telephone-based experience would be advantageous.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays, increasing annually up to a total of 25 days plus statutory

This is a full-time, office-based position in the Orpington area.
