Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Cramlington. This role involves cleaning and detailing our construction plant machinery to ensure it is in top condition for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash, clean, and detail plant equipment efficiently.
  • Conduct visual inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Ensure equipment meets company cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate washing schedules and records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols during cleaning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment availability.
  • Safely operate and move construction plant machinery around the yard as required by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and construction plant machinery.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical fitness for bending, lifting, and standing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (with occasional overtime as required), 30 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid breaks per day, 47.5 basic hours paid per week
