We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in a care home or home care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support clients in following their individual care plans, ensuring that their needs and preferences are met
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients, encouraging independence and social interaction
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care

  • A valid driving license and access to reliable transport

  • A heart full of care and a genuine love for helping others
  • Great communication skills—whether you’re chatting with clients or catching up with teammates
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of our supportive team
  • Flexibility— shifts will include evenings and alternate weekends, and we will do our best to work with you based on your availability
  • Bonus points if you have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, but it’s not a deal breaker
