Full job description

The Dog & Fox is an iconic pub and hotel in the heart of Wimbledon Village. We are an established events venue, pub, dining serving a premium collection of draught & craft beers, local London spirits and fine wines. We offer the best in seasonal, fresh, British produce for our menu and have 25 exquisite bedrooms above in our boutique hotel. Just a 10-minute walk from Wimbledon train station and on several bus routes we are easy to reach and busy all year long. With Wimbledon Tennis Championships in the summer and Christmas functions throughout the winter there is never a boring moment at the Dog & Fox Hotel! Nearest public transport – Wimbledon Train Station or 93 Bus.
While the rest of the world is still hitting snooze, you'll be leading our breakfast team, serving up great food, excellent service and enough smiles to wake even the grumpiest guest.

We're looking for a Breakfast Supervisor who can keep calm when the toast is popping, the coffee machine is working overtime, and everyone suddenly wants poached eggs... at the same time.

Your mornings will include:
  • Leading our breakfast team with energy (real or caffeine-fuelled—we're not judging).
  • Making sure every guest starts their day with a smile.
  • Keeping service running smoother than perfectly scrambled eggs.
  • Supporting and motivating the team (without needing a motivational poster).
  • Working closely with the kitchen to make breakfast dreams come true.
  • Solving the occasional breakfast dilemma with confidence and good humour.
  • Making sure everything is clean, organised and ready before the first guest arrives.
You'll fit right in if you:
  • Have experience supervising in hospitality.
  • Can smile before 9am.
  • Stay calm when every table orders "just one more pot of tea."
  • Love working with people and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Are organised enough to remember who wanted sourdough, who wanted gluten-free, and who asked for "extra crispy but not burnt."
What's in it for you?
  • Competitive pay plus tips.
  • Staff discounts.
  • Training and genuine opportunities to progress.
  • A brilliant team who know how to work hard and laugh while doing it.
  • Meals on shift (because supervising breakfast on an empty stomach is just cruel).

If you're ready to lead a fantastic team, brighten people's mornings and prove that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, we'd love to hear from you.
