Cleaning Operative — Levi Hall Business Solutions Ltd

Job Overview

Levi Hall Business Solutions Ltd is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team, delivering high-quality commercial cleaning services across a range of client sites. This purely commercial role involves maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, helping to create a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our clients and their staff. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity to join a professional team committed to excellence in cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Shifts: starting between 4am-6am and finishing at 12pm (3-4 shifts) per week.

Duties

  • Carry out thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate equipment and products
  • Maintain floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures to a consistently high standard
  • Restock consumables such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll in designated areas
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage identified while on site to your supervisor
  • Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete all tasks within allocated timeframes
  • Apply specialised cleaning techniques for sensitive areas or equipment as required
  • Drive between multiple client sites during your shift, covering up to 50 miles per shift

Requirements

  • A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
  • Comfortable driving up to 50 miles across a single shift, travelling between sites
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
  • Good working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic
  • Physically fit and able to carry out tasks involving lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
  • A proactive, take-pride-in-your-work attitude
