Marton Gate Manor includes two in-house bars with a Barista Station, restaurant-standard dining rooms, a full beauty and hairdressing salon, a cinema, a bowls green, a greenhouse with raised gardening areas, and outdoor terraced balconies overlooking the surrounding area.

All the bedrooms are designed to be spacious and come fully furnished, complete with an en-suite wet room. Each room is adorned with highly finished décor and interiors, and the ground-floor bedrooms include doors out to private patio areas.

Our Dementia Care Living is situated on a dedicated floor and is designed to create a home-from-home providing a sense of familiarity that helps support and ease our residents to settle into their new surroundings.

We are currently recruiting for a Head Housekeeper

£13.70 per hour

Shift pattern 8:30am – 4:30pm - Some weekend working required.

A 37.5 hours per week role.

It is essential that all our staff are;

  • Willing to undertake any training necessary to develop skills and competency relevant to the role.
  • Sensitive to the needs of others.
  • An active team player and must be able to work on own initiative.
  • Possess good communication skills with colleagues, residents and visitors.

Overview of Job Description:

  • To either be in overall charge of the Ancillary team, with the management team.
  • To provide the residents with a safe and clean environment to live in.
  • To complete staffing rotas and supervisions..
  • To spot check and audit the service provided.
  • To support, train and guide Ancillary as required.
  • To report and record in the appropriate manner any information considered to be important.
  • To deal with any queries or worries expressed by residents/relatives/visitors and forward on to senior managers if unable to resolve.
