Full job description

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced Jet Washer/Window Cleaner to join our Company and help provide excellent communal cleaning services to our clients in Crystal Palace and surrounding London areas.

Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with the opportunity for Saturday overtime to increase your earnings, your responsibilities will include:

  • High-level window cleaning: Extensive experience using water-fed poles up to 85ft, working safely and confidently at height.
  • Jet washing: Operating high-pressure washing equipment to clean buildings, walkways, bin stores, bins and other communal areas.
  • Gutter cleaning: Carrying out gutter cleaning efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
  • Specialist cleaning: Removing graffiti, preparing surfaces and using rotary patio cleaners when required.
  • Training and mentoring: Supporting, guiding and training new members of staff, sharing your knowledge and ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard.
  • Quality and customer service: Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, representing the company professionally and delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Essential Requirements

We are looking for a senior operative with proven experience in all the key areas of the role. Applicants must have:

  • Must have previous professional experience in window cleaning, including the confident use of 85ft water-fed poles.
  • Proven experience in gutter cleaning and high-pressure jet washing.
  • The ability to train, support and mentor new members of staff.
  • A positive, professional and reliable attitude, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • The physical fitness required to carry out demanding cleaning duties.

Applicants must also be aged 21 or over for fleet insurance purposes, hold a full, clean manual UK driving licence for more than one year, have no previous motoring convictions or disqualifications, and be eligible to live and work in the UK.
