Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Specialist Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a tidy, organised space.

Duties

  • Perform specialist cleaning tasks including such as Cover Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Jet Washing, Reach & Wash Window Cleaning and Bulk Waste Removal.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded

Experience

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
  • Good communication skills in English are required to understand instructions and interact professionally with clients and colleagues
  • A valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between sites - must be over 25 and held licence for at least 2 years
  • Customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving direct interaction with clients or the public
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential
