Acme Bus Co. Ltd. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Bus & Coach Cleaner to join our friendly "work family" in Saffron Walden, 6 hours per day Monday to Friday with additional hours available during school holidays. We are a family-run company that takes pride in presenting clean, safe, and professional vehicles to our schools and private hire customers. This role is based at our modern Saffron Walden depot and offers a stable, supportive environment where every member of the team is truly valued.

Job Responsibilities

  • High quality vehicle care, including internal sweeping mopping and window cleaning
  • Exterior washing of our bus and coach fleet
  • Thorough deep cleans and assisting with site maintenance
  • Clean communal areas daily
  • Carry out additional ad hoc jobs as requested by management.
  • Keep cleaning equipment, cleaning cupboard and COSHH cupboard serviceable and well stocked at all times
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but no essential
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is advantageous
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
